The Challenge

Turbo & Diesel Automotive Services is a Hamilton workshop offering WOFs, diesel repairs, fuel injection servicing, and commercial vehicle work. When we audited the account in February, spend was spread across more than 30 legacy campaigns, with roughly $1,936 of spend over 90 days and a real cost per confirmed form lead north of $50 once call tracking noise was stripped out.

Both main campaigns were budget capped during peak hours, 87. 9% of traffic was mobile yet the lead form sat below the fold, and high-intent searches like fleet servicing and diesel specialist work had no dedicated campaign.

The opportunity was to consolidate a busy account into one focused engine for bookings.

Our Solution

  • Rebuilt the account from a clean slate on 1 March, pausing the 30 plus legacy campaigns.
  • Built three dedicated landing pages on a fast Vercel hosted subdomain covering Car Servicing, Diesel Repairs, and WOF, each with conversion tracking, Microsoft Clarity heatmaps, and Formspree lead capture.
  • Launched a single Hamilton search campaign at $55 per day with three tightly themed ad groups using only phrase and exact match keywords, dedicated negative keyword lists, and ad copy written for each ad group.
  • Added account level call tracking so every click to call was attributed properly.
  • Layered in an optimisation pass after 30 days of search term data, adding four new negatives and a tablet bid adjustment of negative 90% to cut wasted spend.
