Challenge
Tactics Sports Bar and Gaming is a multi-purpose venue in Highland Park, East Auckland, combining a sports bar, pokies gaming room, and full kitchen, with a strong local reputation across the Pakuranga and Howick catchment. Big match days for rugby, UFC, and Premier League drive the bulk of revenue, so capturing that game-day demand online was a clear opportunity.
Plenty of punters search for a sports bar in Howick or somewhere to watch the All Blacks in Highland Park, and the venue wanted to be the obvious choice for them. The goal was to give a well-loved local venue a discoverable digital home that matched its game-day energy, with room to promote fixtures, reserve tables, and capture pre-orders.

Approach
Designed a dark-themed site with bold typography, match fixture modules, and photography of the gaming lounge and kitchen to capture the late-night atmosphere. Added table booking so punters can reserve a spot before kickoff.
Integrated online ordering for the kitchen menu so customers can order from their seat or for pickup. Optimised local SEO around East Auckland intent keywords with LocalBusiness schema and Google Business Profile sync.
Built location-specific landing content for Highland Park, Howick, and Pakuranga to turn casual searches into booked tables.
