Finance Made Easy: vehicle and personal loans, applied for online

Finance Made Easy is a New Zealand finance broker arranging vehicle loans for cars, utes, motorbikes, caravans, boats and business vehicles, along with personal loans and mechanical warranties. When the owner came to us, he already had a website in progress that was not doing what the business needed.

Its buttons led to a general contact page rather than an application, applying meant scrolling halfway down the vehicle loans page, and the repayment calculator and quick quote he had asked for were not part of the build. He knew exactly what he wanted instead: a quote first, repayments straight after, and applying made the easiest thing on every page.

His customers would rather apply online than through a ten-minute phone call, but some still want a person to ring them back. He also wanted to start advertising on Meta, so the site had to be live quickly and able to turn ad clicks into real applications, while carrying the disclosures a registered financial service provider has to show.

We designed and built the site from scratch on Astro, with its own design system: serif headings, a warm parchment background, and the navy and gold measured straight from the Finance Made Easy logo, used sparingly on buttons and emphasis. We wrote and built a page for every type of vehicle the business finances and for its personal loans, all linked from vehicle and personal loan hubs, plus warranties, a repayment calculator, FAQs and an About page in the owner's own words, with his byline on the content he reviewed.

Every Apply now opens a secure online application, express or full, with a short call-back form for anyone who would rather talk and a separate page for sending supporting documents. Every call-back and quote request lands in the broker's CRM with the ad that brought it, and conversion tracking fires only on a completed application or qualified enquiry, so the ads we run for the business learn from real applicants rather than clicks.

Two ad landing pages were ready for the first campaigns, old website addresses were redirected to their new pages, and the registration number, dispute resolution scheme, privacy policy and terms sit in the footer of every page. The first preview was with the owner five days after our first call, and the site went live 19 days after it.
