Challenge
Associated Plastics is a Tasmanian plastic fabrication manufacturer in Moonah, producing custom acrylic, polycarbonate, and PVC components for trade, retail, and industrial clients across Australia, New Zealand, and the USA. Its capability matched or exceeded that of competitors, yet organic visibility was limited across all three target markets for buyer-intent manufacturing queries.
B2B buyers comparing fabricators on Google often landed on rivals with stronger on-page signals and backlink profiles first. The opportunity was to win multi-market organic visibility from a single site, without standing up separate country domains.

Approach
Rewrote capability pages around substrate, process, and industry vertical so each page targeted the way buyers actually search. Added hreflang and geo-targeted content sections for AU, NZ, and US audiences to serve all three markets from one domain.
Built topical authority through a backlink campaign across industry directories, manufacturing association listings, and supplier roundups. Aligned the structure to the core fabrication services, covering laser cutting, CNC router cutting, custom fabrication, and plastic repairs.
Routed the resulting buyer-research traffic into quote requests that reach the sales team directly. We have since designed and built a new Next.
js website for Associated Plastics, with WooCommerce retained for store management. The dated SEO results below document the search campaign, rather than measuring the impact of the new website.
