A specialist-services website rebuild for Turbo & Diesel Automotive Services

Turbo & Diesel is a Frankton workshop that Hamilton drivers bring the hard jobs to: WOFs and servicing, but also common rail diesel work, fuel injection, turbochargers, DPF and EGR cleaning, hybrid batteries and air conditioning. We already ran their Google Ads, so we could see the demand arriving for specific jobs and marques that the old site either buried or never mentioned.

A workshop with that much depth was presenting itself like a general garage, which meant losing the searches worth the most. The brief was a full rebuild: migrate what was worth keeping, then give every service and every marque a page of its own.

We replaced the site with a 62-page static Astro build on Vercel, authoring services and brand pages as content collections so the workshop can add a service without a developer. We captured and rewrote the existing site into 28 service pages covering everything from WOFs and cambelts through to diesel tuning and fleet servicing, plus 12 brand specialist pages for the marques Hamilton drivers actually own, and a 10-post blog answering the questions that precede a booking.

Business details like hours, address and phone live in one configuration file that feeds every page and the local business schema, so nothing drifts out of sync. The build is tuned to load fast on a phone at the roadside, with inline stylesheets, compressed HTML and a sticky mobile call button, and enquiries run through Formspree into a thank-you flow.

We finished it with the practical pages a workshop needs, including WINZ quotes and careers, permanent redirects for the retired pages, an llms. txt endpoint for AI search, and a sitemap that publishes each page's real content date.
