An application-first finance website for Tillen Finance

Tillen Finance is a New Zealand vehicle and motorbike finance brokerage led by Tyler Newman, arranging car, motorbike, and self-employed vehicle loans through a panel of lenders for borrowers across the country. A brokerage earns nothing from visitors who browse and leave.

It needs completed applications, with enough detail for a broker to place the deal with the right lender. Tillen needed a website that could take someone from 'what would the repayments be' through to a full, lender-ready credit application without a phone call, and land every enquiry in the CRM with its source attached.

With Google Ads planned from the start and finance being a regulated space, the build also had to include dedicated landing pages, conversion tracking, and carefully worded pre-approval copy from day one.

We designed and built the site from scratch on Astro and Tailwind, deployed on Vercel with prerendered pages and a serverless lead endpoint. The build shipped with three loan service pages, an interactive repayment calculator with sliders, a pre-approval landing page served on its own subdomain at apply.

nz, a full multi-step credit application with repeatable liability entries and a supporting-documents step, and three launch blog articles. Every form posts to a custom API endpoint that creates a Person and lead in Pipedrive with mapped custom fields and full UTM and click ID attribution, and falls back to email capture if the CRM is unreachable so an outage never swallows an enquiry.

We also built three noindexed Google Ads landing pages from a shared component ready for campaign launch, wired up GA4, Google Ads conversion tracking, and Microsoft Clarity, and ran a compliance pass over the pre-approval wording and privacy policy with Tyler before go-live.
