A compliance-first quote funnel and website for IVF Funders

IVF Funders is a New Zealand consumer lender that finances IVF and fertility treatment, a trading name of JFK Capital Limited and the same team behind Fee Funders. It lends $5,000 to $50,000 for treatment, paid directly to the fertility clinic, so patients can start a cycle without waiting on savings.

Consumer lending in a category this sensitive leaves no room for loose copy: the CCCFA governs how rates and fees are disclosed, and a lender has no business making claims about medical outcomes. IVF Funders needed a brand-new site that could quote real repayment figures on the spot, take full applications online, and stand up to compliance scrutiny, all while replacing an old site without throwing away the URLs it had already earned.

We designed and built the site from scratch on Astro 5, server-rendered on Vercel and styled with Tailwind CSS v4 around a pink palette drawn from the client's logo. The centrepiece is the quote funnel: a quick-estimate form on the homepage feeds a server-rendered estimate page that calculates indicative monthly, fortnightly and weekly repayments, then hands the prefilled details straight into the full application.

The repayment maths runs through an amortised calculation library we unit-tested with Vitest, capitalising establishment and PPSR fees so the indicative figures a borrower sees reflect the real fee structure. Compliance decisions shaped the copy as much as the code: the monthly rate never appears without its fixed annual equivalent, we cut testimonial and medical-claim content a lender cannot stand behind, added privacy notices to both forms, and built a complaints page covering the FSCL dispute-resolution scheme.

Seven treatment pages generate from one typed data file, backed by FinancialProduct, FAQ and HowTo structured data plus AI-search content components, with a 301 redirect map preserving the old site's URLs and cache and security headers on the deployment.
