A scalable website for Horton Taylor

Horton Taylor is a Tauranga marketing consultancy working with trade and property service businesses across the Bay of Plenty. The site had to carry the whole business at once: five service lines, a job management software specialism, a case study library, and enough local search coverage to compete for terms like web design Tauranga and Google Ads Tauranga.

A single brochure site was never going to hold that spread of intent. The brief was one fast build that could grow to dozens of pages without becoming a maintenance job every time a new town or niche was worth targeting.

We built the site as a static Astro build, with the local and niche landing pages driven from a single data file through one shared template, so adding a new page is a content decision rather than a development job. That structure now carries landing pages covering towns, trades and service niches, alongside the service pages, a job management software hub, a client case study library and a blog answering the cost and comparison questions buyers actually type.

We set the SEO foundations properly: self-referencing canonicals across every page, Organisation and ProfessionalService schema, FAQ markup on the pages that answer questions, and a sitemap that publishes real per-page modification dates instead of build time. Enquiry forms run through a dedicated thank-you flow, with the utility pages kept out of the index.

The result is a site the consultancy can extend itself whenever a new town or niche is worth targeting.
