A compliant rebuild with fully digital client onboarding for Fee Funders

Fee Funders is a New Zealand spread-payment lender that pays service businesses 100% of their invoice upfront while the customer repays in monthly instalments over three to twelve months, a product used by accountants, lawyers, dentists and trades businesses nationwide. As an FSP-registered consumer-credit provider, the website carries genuine regulatory weight: the disclosure statement, loan terms, fee schedule and FSCL complaints process all have to live on the site and stay accurate.

The previous web presence had accumulated a sprawl of programmatic location and service URLs that needed consolidating without losing search equity, and client onboarding, with director and witness signatures plus AML identity details, needed to happen on the site itself. The professional firms who refer clients also needed a way to put a Fee Funders payment calculator on their own websites and invoices.

nz as a fast Astro site covering the marketing core, the legal and compliance pages a consumer-credit provider has to carry, resources, and an interactive quick-quote calculator. We built a dedicated landing page for every industry that refers Fee Funders work, from accountants to dentists to trades, each with long-form content, worked pricing scenarios and its own FAQs, alongside an ongoing blog.

We turned onboarding into a single digital form that captures director and witness signatures on canvas, exports them as SVG, collects AML identity details and file uploads, and posts to a custom API endpoint that emails the completed pack to the Fee Funders team. We also built an embeddable payment calculator that partners can add to their own sites as a script, an iframe or a modal button, served from a copy-paste embed-codes page.

Under the hood the site carries FinancialProduct, FAQ, HowTo and Article schema, an llms. txt file for AI search, security and caching headers, and a redirect map that folds the legacy programmatic URLs into the new structure.
