The Challenge
Barclae Ridge Gift Solutions is a premium corporate gift hamper business that has been curating bespoke hampers for NZ corporates, EAs, and HR teams since 2006, with a reputation built on artisan product sourcing and white-glove delivery.
Their old site looked like it was built in 2010: cluttered categories, inconsistent product photography, and no proper system for the bulk corporate orders that drive the bulk of December revenue. EAs placing 50+ hampers for staff Christmas gifts were dropping off because there was no way to upload recipient lists, request custom branding, or get bulk pricing without calling.
That friction was pushing corporate buyers toward generic competitors like Gourmet Basket.
Our Solution
We delivered a complete WooCommerce redesign with an elegant, clean aesthetic in warm neutral tones that matches the premium positioning, with photography-led product cards and clear corporate-versus-personal navigation.
We built custom functionality including a bulk order form with CSV recipient upload, a custom hamper request flow for tailored curation, and streamlined product categories for corporate, personal, birthday, baby, and seasonal occasions. The checkout was restructured to handle multi-address shipping for corporate recipient lists, and product pages were optimised around the search terms EAs actually use.
The redesign positioned them to capture the premium corporate gifting segment properly.
