## Challenge

Golden Bay Mech Tech is a mobile auto repair service led by master technician John Monaghan, bringing the workshop to customers across a remote stretch of the South Island. In this scattered rural market, people find a tradie through Google first and word of mouth second, so search visibility is the main route to new bookings.

The business wanted a strong online home that matched John's decades of expertise and made it easy to be found for high-intent searches like "mobile mechanic Golden Bay" and "auto repair Takaka". The goal was to own those local searches and turn them into direct enquiries.

## Approach

Built a fast, conversion-focused website around the two questions customers care about most: can they reach me, and can I trust them. Led the design with service area coverage, response times, and the breadth of mobile services from diagnostics to key cutting and auto electrical.

Ran a full local SEO programme: structured Google Business Profile optimisation, geo-targeted service pages for each town in the coverage area, and LocalBusiness plus Service schema. Tuned the build for speed so roadside searchers reach the page in under 1.
